XP Home or XP Pro??

Well im bout to buy/build my 1st computer and and i got to thinking bout this after reading some comments on the product.

So what is the difference.
I was bout to buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16837102151
Home addition service pack 3.

There was also this version of Windows HOME XP. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16837102141

What is the diffence between those to?!

But then got to thinking bout Pro.. Which one should i get and what are the differences?

are you going to have a home network? like 2 or more pc? if so, get pro, if it is just to get on the net and play games get home.

Service Pack 3 doesn't exist yet.

No matter what you do you want Pro. You will be thankfull that was your choice latter on.

Those should be enough for the common user but then add in the networking aspects that you mentioned.

Ive got XP Home (its not too bad), but when Vista comes out, im definitely going to go pro.
Pro just offers way more, and isn't much more expensive.

Sarcasm? I can't tell but yes I do think most poeple will use it and I think it's worth the investment.

dnoch there is no Vista Pro there is a Premium Vista though which is probably what you mean.

eh sorry the service pack 3 thing was a typo i meant 2.

But i went ahead and orders the one in the 1st link that i posted in my 1st post.
