anyways...it looks like ive got my self a bum dvdrom and i may need to replace it.i going to have a look down pcworld later.i dont want to lose a day nd reformat knowing it might be for nothing.
arhh! solved the problem.you techno guys would be proud of me as a virgin techie that i am......i went down pcworld,brought a sanyo dvdrom for 25£,installed it...bingo.problem solved!!!!!
