New PSU

Hello,
I currently have a 300watt Bestec power supply. I am upgrading my computer to a 6600gt and its been recommended to upgrade my PSU. I
have a few questions:

2)How hard is it to install a PSU?
3)Do all PSUs fit in every computer?

Get this PSU

2) pretty easy, unplug all the connections, unscrew the psu out, screw the new one in, plug in all the connections

3) most likley though sometimes pre made computers have difference size psu like Dell, Sony, Gateway, etc

I have a Gateway. How can I tell if this will fit or not?

Call gateway. And if the 300watt Bestec psu you have is aftermarket, then a new one should fit.

Ive compared the screwhole from the one I have to....well all the ones on the internet and they match up. Does this mean itll fit?

What makes these so much better? Is there anyway to find the measurements for these PSUs to know if it will fit? Right now, between my PSU and Dvd drive there is only about 2 inches to spare.
