That looks good, just make sure you get a better cooler if you intend to do some overclocking. I got this 2x1GB ram:

It does DDR500 with 3-3-2-0 (yes, 0 tras) timings, but it won't go any higher than DDR500 for me, and I can't get it to run on a divider, but with the 4400+ 250x11 is 2.75GHz, that is more than enough power for you. If you want to be gaurenteed to get 2x1gb ram that will do 250, just get ddr500, because it's really hit or miss with 2x1GB. Also, with your budget, you may want to consider that new viewsonic 2ms lcd

oh, wow. That makes a bunch of sense to do it that way. With the over $300 you save on the 4400+ over the 4800+ you can grab some nice RAM like that. hmmm... I think i might be close to final now.

I was thinking going nvidia... but the only thing better then the x1800XT is the 7800GTX 512MB. I'm not going to spend $750 on a GFX card.

May-be down the road a bit i'll grab another x1800xt when Crossfire matures a bit and the prices drop. I might also need another for UT2007?

Since i'm not much of an overclocker, i guess the 4400+ would be my best choice.
