My northbridge fan is driving me insane. It spins at about 5k, and makes a serious humming noise that I *HATE*.
In CoreCenter (MSI's fan controller utility) it reports my fan is at 5kRPM, sometimes it drops to 2.5k and thats when I can't hear the fan anymore.
Any ideas how I can reduce fan speed?
I was looking into replacing the northbridge with a passive Zalman NB cooler, but unfortunately my graphics card is right ontop of the northbridge cooler
