Is there THAT much of a diff between 16 MS monitors and 8 MS monitors? im talking about on a 19 inch LCD, anyways Im torn between buying one now for 200 that is a 16 ms or waiting to get a 285 dollar one that is 8 ms b ut also has a DVI AND a VGA cable in it, any suggestions? and also, is it THAT big of a diff? Thanks

Depends on what you want to do, if you plan to game, sure there could be a difference. I believe the norm for gaming is no more than 12 ms. If you're not going to game, then the 16 is fine, perhaps even a 25 will do. But seriously, 16 ms is outdated.

Edit: low response time is usually required for anyting that has lots of animation, i.e. movies and games.

i cant really tell a difference with my 25ms monitor  and a 12ms monitor but people would say lower is better for gaming so you dont get any ghosting or what not

oh hey, with monitors, 19" LCDs, does D-sub make a noticeable drop in quality from DVI-D? or are they basically the same?
