Bottleneck

I was just curious as to what could be causing chugging on my computer. I know I've got pretty strange mishmash of components, but I'm not sure what exactly would be causing this problem:

In games like FEAR and BF2, it'll run fine in lower resolutions but as soon as I crank it up every 2-3 seconds it acts like it will hang then start up again. Sometimes it will start again quickly, sometimes it will hang for as long as 15 seconds.

I don't want to post my specs 'cause I know someone will immediately look at one piece and think that's causing the problem 'cause it's old. So what do you guys think? RAM, Vid card, processor, or Hard Drive?

it's because it's old!.....i would say it;s either you don't have enough ram...and it's having to use the pagefile or your graphics card isn't good enough

yes, I think it's pagefile.
that probabbly means you don't have enough RAM
