Loud PC

My dvd drive is sometimes pretty noisy when i boot and other times ok. My PC in general is a noisy mf. You think getting a new cpu fan and case fan will resolve the problem?

You should try opening the case and turn the computer to determine which component is causing the noise. It could be the hard drive, psu fan, cpu fan, chipset fan, case fan, or video card fan.

The DVD drive is only noisey when you have a disc in it. The CPU is always loud since its always on.

I always put in dynamat in my cases, along with rubber grommets on the fans and harddrives,, makes for a quiet pc..
