man you guys are such computer snobs, its ridiculous.

Also all these budgets are pretty high, most consumers aren't going to spend 1200 on a tower alone w/o speakers, monitor, office software, games, or whatever else they need.

In fact, most people don't even want to spend a grand on their computer.

Heres a complete build

$981.46 and this would kick ass for games or whatever else you want to do.

That's exactly what it was intended for. 003 I also added your build, I though it was a good one. So it's up there. I just wish more people would contribute like your did, instead of starting senseless arguements. I will configure a few more "base" models.
I dont want to be an attention whore but i was the one trying to think of different builds so fanboys wouldnt come in here complaining "where ATI? or where Intel??"
I'M trying to get everyone to argue with me? DID I NOT JUST POST WITH ALL THE FLAME-STARTING POSTS, NONE OF WHICH WERE MINE?
Not true
Lets not. I'd like someone to explain to me why the hell you would go for a Dual-Core over a Single-Core if you're a hardcore gamer...
First flame followed by mine
Its for noobs who dont know any different, not for a hardcore gamer. If your THAT hardcore then you already know whats better and whats not. Needless to say its not for you so shut up.
man you guys are such computer snobs, its ridiculous.
This was not needed at all. Guys this thread is meant to help ppl not be a flame fest. Flanker your not helping at all by waht you are saying to try and defend yourself. Look at what your doing, your arguing w/ a bunch of guys on the internet that youll never meet.
I think that every post in here thats not a build or suggestion should be deleted. All types of builds should be added to the list to add variety. Just mix the build like Nvida Geforce 6800GT or ATI X800XL for example and just put a slash between them w/ prices in parrentheses. If you have all these builds in one topic it would be easier to navigate and search for a build to your liking.

Yes, please lock out Flanker, and anyone who is merely here to argue and not contribute to the topic at hand.

Im with macdawg, you need some lower budget systems. Alot of people have less then a grand anyways.

Every system build posted, should have the exact same "ingredients". I mean with OS, monitor, speakers etc....I would say leave out speakers, monitor, OS, mice and keyboard.

P.P. Mguire, you call that a flame? Wow. If you do maybe you should take your own advice about arguing with a bunch of teenagers online who you'll never even see...

I'd post a build, but then it would be like recommending a build to someone directly, and for that I quote Chris;

I avoid those topics because YOU still find it amusing to answer them.

Or something like that :)

Thank you "vaderpro" & "macdawg" both your submissions have been added to the list above.

Let's get some more systems guys.

We need AMD & ATI and INTEL & ATI systems... Please?

P.P Mguire

Please by all means without links.. It's actually faster for me if I don't have to navigate to where ever to see what it is.

Just like mine is good. Thanks.
