opteron never herd of it any where i can read about it

Technically, they are AMD's server CPUs, but the new socket 939 opterons are basicly Athlon 64s. They support the exact same things as the Athlon 64s, they are just as fast, and they are cheaper. I have an opteron 165. I love it. The one I recommended to you is the only dual core CPU with 2x1mb L2 cache that fits your budget. This PC is very future proof.

no need for DFI board, drop down to an MSI K8N NEO4-F, bump up to a 7800GTX, i dont think there is no need for the zalman cooler but ok

maybe get a difference case to save some money
