Fixing Hang-up issue with Outlook.

Outlook and Outlook Express hang up on people all the time in fact it is one of the largest Dial up Disconnect problems that occur.

Here is how to fix it for Outlook.

Click Tools > Options.
Click Mail Settings or Mail Setup
Uncheck: Hang up when finished with a manual Send/Receive.
Thanks to customer Dennis who describes another Outlook setting that may cause disconnections (see his comment below). If Outlook is still disconnecting, try this:

Click Tools > Options.
Click Mail Settings or Mail Setup
Uncheck: Automatically dial during a background send/recive.

i tried it....but i dont have dial up....

and it doesnt work....still pops up

hmm...well i just tried un ticking those boxes...and it didnt come up for 2 minutes....bit better than 1 minute....but its still very annoying...

any other ideas how to fix it ??
