How do I replace old RAM with the new?

I have decided on my new RAM. (GeIL Value Dual Channel Kit - memory - 1024 MB ( 2 x 512 MB ) - DIMM 184-PIN - DDR) In case you were wondering! Seems like pretty good value. What I need to know is do I just whip out the old and slot in the new? Or is there more to it than that?

Nothing more then what you said, just whip out the old and put your new little buddies in. Worked for me.

there are two buttons you have to push together so the old ram stick will "pop up" then you can easily pull it out

keep holding both buttons and insert the new stick

the buttons are at both edges of the slot

do that to both sticks
