OCZ Titanium and Gold edition RAM

okie...seems like what i want is the gold...
but for 15% restocking fee+new shipping fee+returning shipping charge....
this comes down to the fact im gonna lose extra $75 or so just to get the Gold...
its not worth it i think...mb ill stick w titanium...
hope i don regret this later on...
pls give me ur opinion if u were me...

I doubt if you'd be able to tell the difference .. you could probably see it in a benchmark or something, but I'd say not in the real world.

the titanium series is more expensive cause it has very very tight timings for a 2*1GB set, and it can OC, though if you get the gold you are for sure you are getting 250fsb at like some wacko timings like 4-4-4-10, just as an example. or you can just try the titainum out and you might get like 2.5-3-3-5 timigns with 250FSB which would be better then the gold

there is no difference in between the ram for gaming or multi tasking, they just say that so people will buy the products

A little off topic, but have you guys seen the new OCZ Heatspreaders?

I saw this a couple weeks ago but it really wasn't something impressive enough to start a new post over....they look pretty lame to me.
