I've a decent pc, but since I'll be runnin off to college in a few months, my next project is to build/buy myself a quality laptop/notebook. Problem is, I know very little about them  . Anyone care to help me out? Price isn't so much of an issue, I'm always willing to spend the extra buck if it'll get me a quality system, so long as in the end it's no more than 2500. Any sugguestions? Personal setups? Details on company deals? Etc etc? Any help is greatly appreciated ;)

Thanks-

Oh yeah. My bad ^_~. I'm hoping for a decent all around computer. A LOT of digital imaging/editing though. Lots of multimedia, some gaming, some video encoding.

About the building part, I was considering making one on puget (http://www.pugetsystems.com/), though I don't know how well the components they offered would function in what i'm lookin for

On a side note, since i'll need a form of internet connection, and i know very little about wireless: Is pentium's centrino cpu the only one that offers wireless?

Gaming isn't the main purpose, though I do game a lot in my free time  . If that ousts an apple notebook, what next? >_>?

Also, generally speaking, are laptops easily upgradeable? Or is it worthwhile to say, add ram, switch in a better vid card, etc etc?

(Sorreh for the "Also... also... also..." ~_~. New questions just keep poppin up)
