I am not sure on the totals but I am trying to debate whether to spend more money on the processor or the videocard. I am planning on playing BF2. Like what would be the best system I could get with a budget around 450-550? This is just for the processor and the videocard, I have everything else. Thank you!

Alright, well drop the CPU dollars and stay with the 7800gt.

definately the 7800gt and if you can scrape up the extra few bucks get the 3700 well worth it

Yes, Venice is better for those.

The 3200+ and 7800GT looks nice.

3700+ and 6800GS is nice too.

NVidia has another bangbreaker up its sleeve, similar to what the 6800GS did for the GeForce 6 series .

ya what do you think will drop more in price by lets say end of the year?

A cpu? or the graphics card?

Maybe I can get the 3700+ and just wait on the video card dropping in price. or purcahse the 7800 GT and wait till a price drop occurs on the 3700+.
