yea but credit cards are risky to use. it may be cheaper, but shipping and handling and what not. just remember that using credit cards are really risky due to interests and stuff.

Everybody here (well, mostly everybody) has bought all their computer parts off newegg.com (or similar sites). I have not encountered one problem to date. I have even had to RMA several products for either replacements or refunds. Not a single problem with that either. If buying things online were so dangerous, why do we all do it? And why have we never had trouble? If it were so risky, do you think any online stores would still be in business? Newegg is a 100% online store, they don't have any retail sotres you can drive to. Lol, the FX-55 is almost $1000 at compusa, and you can get it for about $800 on newegg (plus free shipping and no tax). If you really are forced to buy things from stores (especially compusa), then you will be forced to get a much less powerful system to stay within your budget. Why don't you compare compusa's customer rating:

to newegg's:
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2121.html

Why don't you show THAT to whoever you want to borrow the credit card from.
