MS Office = god
Open/Star Office = 10 times more resource hog/bad

I noticed no difference...

Plus, unless you'd like to find me a key that works (tried dozens) I'm going to have to stick to the freebie version. <3

Well I suggest you look at the recent benchmarks for Office ver2 and stay legal.

Hell, I have a valid copy of MS Office 2K3. But for some reason, that key doesn't work.

I have no idea why it doesn't work....

And Rock XP doesn't even realize that Office 2K3 is installed on the Dell. I don't care what anybody says, it does not recognize it.... I don't know why.....

post a screen shot of word if you have office 2003 and not works....

It's 4 am and I'll get a screenshot later.

In program menu, it says Microsoft Office. When I hover the mouse, to the right the programs appear. Every single one says 2003 behind it, such as Word 2003, Excel 2003, etc.

The other thing is, when I go into add/remove programs, it's listed as Microsoft Office Professional 2003..... Does the Professional mean a difference? It shows in add/remove programs, but not in the actual program menu.
