hi. i have a mac right now and im goin to build a pc soon.
and i want to share the monitor and internet connection bet those 2 computers.
mb sharing usb mouse and keyboards too...but they arent the priorities.
so i need a switcher and router? i have actually no idea what to get for this...
pls help....
both my video out is DVI but im using CRT(VGA) monitor.
but i have the DVI to VGA connecter. so itll probablly work..
and for the internet i have just a single dsl modem.
i would prefer a wired version of router.
if any1 here have a set up like this, pls let me know how it works..
thx all.

All you need is a switch but a router will do all the work for you.
You can get a cheap DLink router for around $15 when they are on sale.

I suggest their higher priced ones. You can get one that is $40 and there is a Gamerlounge which I have. It has a gigabit switch built in. All you need to do is buy 1 more ethernet cable (cat5e or cat6) which you can get off ebay for cheap.

If the monitor supports dual inputs, all you have to do is plug in the video outs.
