Most of the time the computer works fine. Every so often the computer will freeze. The only way to regain control is to restart it with the power or restart button. I am pretty sure i know why this happens but i would like a second opinion. A few weeks ago, this same computer was having restart problems. The problem was traced back to a faulty motherboard. Well, i took all the hardware except the motherboard and put it onto a new compatable motherboard. The computer runs fine except the occasional freeze. Is this most likely from not having the same motherboard. It use to be an asrock board and now it is an intel board.

Like i said, im almost pos this is what is causing this but would like a second or third opinion.
