i like it, but practically it could be difficult. If you could seal a case, and protect the cdrom and hdd's, that would be cool, but how well does oil conduct heat?

mabye try running it without a heatsink

Oil can't condunct electricity? O_O Wow.. How come you have case fans in the rubbermaid?? If you put the PSU in is there a chance of electrocution? Why can't you just strip the components of all their fans? Does it matter? does the oil computer make noise?

EDIT: Just occured to me. That is vegetable oil, ergo its organic. Would using some other type of oil be better?? Did you mix in disinfectant so the oil doesn't rot?

Man.. that'd be cool to take to a lan party !!
