6/10. First of all, 512mb will just slow down the 6800gt. if you really want 512mb video ram get an x1800xt, or for $800 get a 512mb 7800gtx that will kill the x1800xt... second you should build your own system it will be better and cheaper.

Crap, as a 6800GT is a waste of money as well as the motherboard is not great.

XP Pro is also a waste unless you need it for it's networking features which 99% of the people here do not.

Well okay what video card/mobo do you recommend instead? I can get Xp Pro for a lot cheaper, I just put in on cuz that's what I'm going to use, I'm not buying it from Monarch btw.

I didn't fill out the page for the free stuff, just for hardware. I plan mainly gaming and some 3d rendering for my new comp.


Not hearing anything real positive, but can I have some precise feedback/recommendations so I know the specifics of what I should be looking at rather than just telling me something is crap or that it sucks? What should I be looking into instead?

1. instead of corsair ram, go with OCZ
2. dont pay for windows
3. dont get that vid card, get a 7800GT or GTX instead
4. dont get asus for a motherboard, get a DFI with an amd processor, much better fit and OCer

Okay, I didn't know that. One more question: Is SATA worth the extra money since I'm doing gaming/rendering or is it better to just stick with IDE?
