2gb Dual Channel RAM

hi,

at the moment i have an Intel P4 LGA775 3.0GHz running at 3.15GHz, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and only 512mb RAM. i was wondering if upgrading 1gb or 2gb of PC3200 Dual Channel RAM will help performance in games a lot and if there is much difference between 1gb and 2gb dual channel ?

Really depends what games you play. If you play anything better then Battlefeild 1942 it will help, battlefeild tents to use 700-800mb so having 1GB would be good. But in the new games like Battlefeild 2 and F.E.A.R 2GB is becoming the recommended amount.

no i dont know what my score is for 3dmark03, i will download it and let you know, although i know AquaMark3 Score is 45314
