um..i was wondering what is the temperature for my processor before it goes bonkers?

I can't tell you for sure but I already know my PC suffers from overheating but not too much my inside case temp right after it overheated (restarted play a game I suspect it was heat) was 115.4 F. So say aways from the Hundreds and you should be fine.

mines at the moment runs at 155+F or 70+C

also another thing, is it bad if ur heatshink doesn't feel that hot? cause i think that the person who helped me fix my computer forgot to put thermal paste when he took my CPU and placed it on another mobo

you shuold have some thermal grease between the cpu and heatsink i think thats your problem

go buy a tube of AS5(artic silver 5) from newegg or local computer shop for like 5 dollars and put some there, and if you have the money you can get an aftermarket heatsink too

i say nothing over 60C really
