pictures of my setup...
I used arctic silver n all the chip contacts..
my processor runs at 46C-47c according to bios (latest version)
idle.. Not ssure about load as haven't installed windows back on it yet.
the Water Block on the processor feels cool if not room temp howeverand the water tubing going to it feels less than room temp.. the one from the proc a little above room temp
I changed my motherboard and added a VGA card to the setup as i foundthat this mobo doesn't have stuttering issues with the 6xxx series
however the order is
Evercool Radiator/resivior, geforce6800GT,Thermaltake 12cm radiator, amd 64 3200+
Processor temp diddn't seem to change even when i lowered the fan speeds on the radiators..
possible screwy diode?
my motherboard is chaintech vnf3-250
btw i'm pretty sure i mounted the sink right.. Will switch to a BIG water cpu block
as there is probably a hairline of the cpu that's not completely covered very small gap however.. Only other possible way to mount the sink would Leave a HUGE gap uncovered
