Please help

I have a Dell desktop with XP. I believe it was fried when our house was struck by lighting along with several other appliances. The computer does not turn on at all. The only thing that I would need to save off of it was some pictures that I downloaded from my digital camera. Is it possible to bring it somewhere and they can maybe take it apart and transfer the info to another computer???

Any suggestions would be helpful.

well, all you need to do, is take out the harddrive, and pop it into another computer and copy files over.

The computer might be fine, try replacing the power supply unit.

Good bet, that just the PSU died, however since Dell uses cheap components I doubt thats all that is dead.
