Possible Hard Drive Problem??

Just recently my laptop has been acting funny when starting up. When I turn it on, it starts up as usual. After I enter my username and password, it sort of freezes. It makes that XP Pro 'chime' when you first log in and then just the background shows and it just sits there for about 10-15 minutes before finally loading everything.

It then runs fine after everything is finally started up. I have no idea what started it either. I have done a Disk Defrag. and deleted a bunch of files, but that didn't seem to help.

So I click on My Computer and it said I only had like 50 MBs left on my hard drive. It can be right because I removed like a full 1 GB (like I said before) earlier today. Anyways, so I keep removing stuff. When I click on My Computer and see how much space I have left, it keeps lowering. I clicked on it said 300 MBs then a second later I clicked it and it said 250 MBs.

I'm thinking maybe a hard drive failure or problem. Possibly a virus.

I was able to start up in Safe Mode fine and run anti-virus and the hard-drive reported the right disk space. And yes, my recycle bin is empty.

Anyone else experience this before, or could help?

Here is a HijackThis log report (in case it's helpful).

Yes, but when I boot with safe-mode it shows 7 GBs and that's where it should be. So I don't believe it's truely low disk space. :)
