My memory that was causing the random restarts, and things closing.

Although, Linux works just fine...

AND I already switched my memory out for other memory and it's the same. It still restarts.
 
exactly and you could have easilly corrupted something that a simple repair job could have fixed.
 
That doesn't rule out that the memory is fine on another PC but any memory will not work in the corrupted windows PC.

Have you tried using memory that works in other PCs and use it in your Windows PC. If not then don't rule out corruption of the OS.
 
Ok, maybe I am confusing everyone.

I have a dual boot with Linux and Windows XP.

My Windows XP install constantly closes Firefox, restores my computer without telling me, restarts and more.

My Linux is as stable as anything.

Same computer, different OS's.

I took memory from another computer totally and it still had the problems.

When I was installing Windows, I got the BSOD, I just restarted and installed again without a problem.
 
Did that, seems to be working a little better now. Although some of the problems still persist.
