Get the 6800GS. Performance is Almost 100% the same as the GT. Maybe 1 frame or 1/2 a frame at higher resolutions less.

Since the 6800GT you have in there is nearly $300, you might as well pay a little over $300 and get a 7800GT, methinks. Like this one.

Please explain how it is not too good. And if you get that video card, I would recommend getting a monitor with dvi input.

Well I'm just saying that since you're spending nearly $300 for the 6800GT, you might as well spend a little more and get a substantial increase in performance. Also, LCD screens have DVI input, and CRT ones don't. So just get an LCD.

The monitor that I have on the previous page is an LCD, so I guess it'll do it. And if I have enough $ ill go with the 7800gt(i got 2k, this whole thing adds up to about 1,800, and I still have to get the OS, but I might just cut a lil on the HDD).

Theres a sweet Samsung in Canada called a 913T, but they dont sell it in the US.

-I would go with a 7700 Zalman over the 7000. A little more money but worth it IMHO.
