Computer crashes while playing games

I Had this same problem, my old 9600Xt started doing this with farcry and other games, out of no where games just freeze and I had to restart. After I uninstalled and reinstalled newest driver several times, it continued to happen. So I figured that my Card was just dieing so I bought a 6800. Not the best way to solve a problem but I was due for an upgrade anyways.

ive gone even better than a fan.... ive got the computer sitting in my living room next to the air conditioner lol and it works fine.

only problem is im freezing cold whenever i play games and everyone else is complaining lol
