Digital camera question...

Hi,
I got a digital camera and it's written "F2.8 f=3.9" near the camera "eye"... (the eye is the little thing that takes the photo).
Does someones know what its mean?

Not the zoom because there is no zoom And, not the model cuz the model is something long and weird... And I know that she gives a resolution of 320x240.

f is the aperture. basically, the size of the hole in the lens. the bigger it is, the more light gets in, and in traditional cameras, it means you can set a faster shutter speed.
because if you have a faster shutter speed, it doesn't let as much light in. it compensates for the amount oflight let in by the higher aperture.
and a faster shutter speed = more still picture

although I'm not sure what the F2 is. I think that might be the zoom.
