I had this Videocard for about 6 months, today is the first time its failed on me. I was just using my computer and the screen went blank. I tried using keys on my keyboard but the computer was frozen. I rebooted, computer booted up properly, bios beep was normal, then when I got to the windows xp logo loading screen, the computer screen goes blank once again, I wait to see if windows does load up knowing my boot up sound, but it does not boot. I then switched my settings to onboard video, everything worked fine just like a normal boot. I need some help on this issue, I am praying its not my videocard because its only 6 months old! Thank you! If it is my video card, how do I go about sending it to the company, because I did purchase this card off of newegg.

update: i got the card to work again now after trying it one more time about 5 minutes after this post... even though its working again i am still pondering what is wrong? power supply is 480watt. could it be over heating? thank you!

Ummmmm , since it is new I kind of doubt it is overheating, still check the fan on the vid. Also if you do not have one you may want to get a case fan. Have it so it draws air in from the front of the pc over the components and ou the back. On the side of the fan are arrows that show rotation and air direction.
