My sister works for the government and sometimes brings work home with her. Is there a way in win xp to password protect files she may save on her computer so prying eyes can't access them. Thanks in advance for any info.

If you right click on each inividual file/folder you want to protect and the click properties there is a few options there. She can encrypt the files in the GENERAL>ADVANCED option or she can set the security so that only the current logged in user has access to the file and deny access to all other users who logon to the PC. She should have her own account and make sure she locks the PC each time she is away from it.
