I am using kinda obsolete AMD based mobo and recenly I fried my ( 64MB SDRAM 100)memory card . Is there any chance that I fried my mobo as well ? actually, how could I check my mobo ?whether it's right or not.

Is there any precaution to take before installing new ram chip?

Install some more SD Ram chips and see if it boots and POSTs.
