Whenever I turn on my computer windows xp pro loads and when it goes to the blue Welcome screen that says "Welcome" it stops loading and my computer stops loading but I can still move my mouse pointer anywhere. The only way to get to desktop is when i push alt+ctrl+del and then it gets out of the Welcome screen and goes to desktop. So every time I turn my computer on it always stays on the welcome screen unless I push alt+ctrl+del every time. I have no startup programs except antivirus.

what are your system specs?

is your copy of xp pro real or pirated?

try to create a new user and log in that way.

Computer for now:
OS: Windows XP Professional (5.1 - 2600) | Connection: Cable |
CPU: 1-Intel Pentium III, 449MHz, 512KB (29% Load) | RAM 112/192MB (58.33%) |
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Vanta | Resolution: 1024x768 16bit 60Hz |
Last restart: 8 Hours 27 Minutes 5 Seconds | Record uptime: 1 Day 1 Hour 27 Minutes 3 Seconds.

Drive: (C) Capacity: 12.12GB Used: 11.27GB Free: 870.97MB Label: ibmvol

It is a pirated version but with a valid working coa I bought.

I dont think the question of "is it pirated" rarely has anything to do with any situation whatsoever. The only time that ? should be asked is for activation problems.
