Any opinions on this build would be great before I start buying!

ps. I wanted to know if running two harddrives in RAID 0 would be better than having just 1, not worried about space but speed.

everything looks good except one thing...

the vid card is XFX. XFX are known for heating/dying cards... get a nice eVGA or BFG or something.

LITE-ON drives are what come in prebuilts... not very good >_<.. get a different manu.

You can wait a while longer when the 512mb 7800gtx comes out, and there'll probably be a price drop, you can get the 7800gtx but IMO.

Edit:I agree with you guys dont get xfx, i've had bad memories with them, get an evga.

yes the 14th. also, may want to get a 4400+ x2, or a 3800+x2, OR an opteron dual core 165 939.

Yea stay away from XFX, the best brands are eVGA, Leadtek, BFG and so on.

I have had a couple of the old model BFG including my current 6600, no problems whatsoever and the temperatures are pretty low. Even if I am running my settings at the highest.
