I'm looking to buy a good gaming computer that won't run me much more than $1000 dollars. I'm kind of on a low budget and that is about all I have. So I decided to get some second opinions on it.

Optical Drives
I don't know, just get like a 20$ dvd drive, etc.

Case ( Choose your own) but something like

This will run really close to your budget, so if you'd like, you can downgrade the motherboard, processor, etc. easily.

We can help, no problem. Tell us what you do have if anything, ie mouse, O/S, monitor...etc. If you have some things already, $1000 will get you a decent system. Will you be building it??

Nice build PCme. Just dont buy a case with a PSU, when buying a separate PSU. This is a solid, good airflow case:

This looks similar to the one above but without the PSU:

Those coolermaster cases come with either side window or solid. Just check before purchasing.

Except it doesn't have the side window or sound guage :p
I was just recommending it because you couldn't buy it without a psu.
Doesn't hurt having a back up laying around either.

nice build pcme >_< i have dial up.. it would take me 20 mins to do something like that

With shipping it'll probably be around 1100$, if you only have 1000 max, then downgrade the cpu and mobo
Sorry I can't check exact, I will when I get home or something.
