CRT Monitors

Hello all, I'm looking to buy a 19 inch crt monitor around the 200-300 dollar range. I found a samsung and viewsonic crt that are comparable.

Which would one would you guys prefer? Any other suggestions on a crt monitor? Thanks.

i just went down to the local best buy last week and bought their 19 inch insignia (made by daewoo) works flawlessly for 131 plus tax

Hands down, the viewsonic. Those 997's have had some problems. If I had to pick out a CRT for you I would pick that Viewsonic you have there. Anything more than that is just too much money for a CRT. Good choice.

Yea i'd say they both are very nice. In my situation i would go with the samsung just to save $20 but apparently vaderpro says they've had some problems... so in that case, mine as well go with the viewsonic. Viewsonic is definitely a top-notch company.
