Quick Question that MS could not clearly explain on their website. Is XP Pro upgradable to Media Center 2005?

It is not... you need a clean install.

Yeah looks like I'm not going to MCE though have the CDs I'm not losing my data. Looks like my next OS will be Vista such a long wait. Good luck with your cameria driver.

You'll upgrade to Vista? :amazed: Windows always seems to be so much more reliable on a clean install... well worth the time it takes to back the data up (CDs, DVDs, New HDD, Web etc).

Might be worth the effort now, though. So I suggest an extra partition soley for Windows... saves hassles like this in the future...

buy a spare HD and backup your data.
