organisation software

Im after some software to run on XP, that i can you to keep track of the hours Ive worked and dates ive got assignments to hand in at university, just simple stuff like that. I know there is a version on my hotmail and i have one on my university portal but both are online and i need it for my laptop and may need access when there is no internet connection available.

Im willing to pay a small fee if needed but would obviously prefer freeware.

Any suggestions are very welcome

If you have the Microsft Office suite, install Outlook. It has a calendar program built into it.

what about an excel spreadsheet? if you dont have office, use open office

thanks. im now using outlook. I didnt know it had the calader function. I was gonna use excel if i couldnt find anything buy outlook does the job very nicely.
