what video card would you use pci express or agp?

AGP is being phased out.... Go with PCI Express.

AGP can't support SLI, which is the future of graphics cards. Both companies have stopped production of all AGP cards, so it is getting extremely hard finding AGP cards of even older generations. With Nvidia's "Power of 3" campaign, SLI, powered by PCI-Express, is becomming the way of modern graphics and AGP has been rendered dead.

arent all the next gen video cards gonna be PCI E only, the 7800 is not even available in AGP so AGP is outdated already

AGP is in its death bed so to speak. PCI-E is taking over and is not showing mercy. Only a few of the older cards can support AGP, so anything new will be PCI-E. The only use for AGP cards at all is for people that want faster graphics but their motherboard is AGP and they cannot afford or want to spend extra to upgrade to a PCI-E mobo.

of course pci-express is much better than agp. PCI-express owns man.

Speed wise currently they are the same, but soon, cards will be able to take full advantage of PCI Express so then they will bet better than AGP. For the socket itself, get a PCI Express because as I said earlier, AGP is dying.
