new comp agp or sli

im thinking this has been posted before but i couldnt find it in searching.

i am looking to buy a new gaming pc soon and was wondering whether agp8 or sli is better in the following categories:

- stability (heard sli was having some problems earlier in the yr)
- price
- performance

Dont you mean PCI-express or AGP? I would go PCI-express if i were you. Better in every way.

AGP is an older video card slot
PCIe is the newer video card slot
SLI is a way to make 2 PCIe cards talk to one another and increase performance. It's a motherboard feature

SLI is a waste of money in my opinion. I would get a motherboard with a PCIe slot. You only need one, unless for some reason you want to leave one open for future upgrade. I'd buy a new card if it came down to that though.

just get a mobo with 1PCIE-16 slot or you can get the SLi board but dont SLI lol

what im gonna do, is buy one with the 2 PCI-Ex16 Slots just buy one when i build it, then when games start testing the strengths of my video card i'll just buy another, then tell that game to STFU BI@TCH!!!
