Thanks, I needed an update. when I bought my ipod at the beginning of the year, I bought that book. but it was a 1st edition (2003) so it was useless to me.

My book was made when pc users were using a special version of musmatch to control their music. I unes on work on a mac then. that book was for 2nd generation of ipod and I have a 4th generation ipod

I reedited mt previous post so you will know what I meant.

yes, you just can't use the video part on your ipod
