New Laptop doesnt recognize C&C Generals: Zero Hour disk

I just bought a Toshibe Satellite Laptop and it runs all my games smooth as silk... Only problem is that when I put the C&C Generals: Zero hour disk in the tray, the computer acts like there is no disk in the drive. If you tell it to explore the drive you get a message saying there is no disk in the drive. It runs all other games fine and the drive is a CD DVD burner combo drive. Any ideas why it doesnt like that particular disk???? Thanks!!!

Dose the disc work in other computers? try uninstalling the disc drives drivers. MyComputer>Properties>hardware>device manger>DVD/CD Rom Drivers and uninstall it.
