Noob case light question

What's the difference between a neon green light (In the tube)
and a Cathode green ray?

cold cathode lights DO give off heat, and i have neon lights and cold cathode in my case, the neon lights look like those lighting tubes kind of.

Which one looks nicer in your opinion?

They are a lot cooler than Neon.

i would say UV is nice

wow the cold cathoe are so bright but they just over power my case

Cathode has a different type of gas that runs cooler.

Neon lights have Neon gas inside of them.

cathodes are just too bright for me. I installed my LED fan which is bright, and a medium sized neon tube. maybe 8 inches. It looks very cool. Like I said, I just don't like how bright those cathodes are.
