i like computer sooooo much

yet they always screw me over.


i restart today.

missing (2K o/s):

system32\ntoskrnl.exe
system32\hal.dll

sytem cannot load.
2k cd, INF error
xp cd, INF error
nt boot disk, nothing
load last good config, nothing

*sigh*
i have the worst luck in the entire world.

edit:

only thing left i can thnk of is to take out the HD, put it into this computer, copy the missing files from the 2k cd and hope that it fixes.

How did your CDs get corrupted?

I would just use a win98 boot disk and wipe it out then use the cd

i have the faintest idea. i just used them not 2 weeks ago on this very same system.

i thought about it, but last time i used it, my partitions didn't read right.
i'll try it again though i guess.
