Please ,please Help

i just finished building my PC. and when i turn it on for the first time and i put the windows XP pro. all goes weel and then i get for aabout 2 mintes. and i get this message.

"setup did not find any hard disk drive installed in you PC"

please tell me what is the problem and how to fix it.

please help me

check the connections/jumpers on ur HD and make sure all is well. also if ur using the IDE/SATA cables are plugged in the right slots

yes i checked everything. and evrything is in the right place

Set the boot device order through the system bios, access this by hitting the delete key on startup, next go into advanced, set the cd drive to boot first; this will cause your computer to boot from the xp install disk, you will then see a screan with your options to install.
