yeah, i know it and the answer is that he removed the sound driver, and reinstall it again and it worked...
 
make sure his speakers are plugged in. Make sure that the sound card is working properly just like tractorboy said. Check sound card drivers to make sure there is not irq conflict or device error.
 
that question was really vague...

here's an easy one

timmy was walking by and accidentaly bumped one of his computers, but it caused no damage... he turned it on and everything seemed fine... later he turnes it on to play a game, but the display is all screwy...

what may have caused this, and what can timmy do to prevent it from happening again?
