I need a new fan

the fan on top of my HS is dying, when I got it, it would run at about 4600 rpm's , now it varies between 1000-3000 and gets noizy everyonce and a while, grrr

I can't find a link to where my specific fan is, but it the fan on this heatsink looks the same

does anyone know where I can get a good quiet fan, I really don't want to spend to much on this computer, I plan to save up and completely rebuild rather than upgrade...

This is not a scam, i just have a hard time throwing out computer parts. I guess i had it in my mind that i might use it some day, but i always purchase an after market heat sink for my builds.I guess i'm kind of a pack-rat when it comes to parts. At least this way it is going to be put to use and i can feel better knowing that someone got some useage out of it...

Hope it works for you. It came with a socket A 2500+ Barton that i purchased a couple of years ago.
