Yea, the 4000+ is only .4 GHz below the FX-57 (2.8GHz, $1000). .4GHz is an easy overclock. - flanker (thanks)
 
X2 3800+ OC to 2.4-2.6Ghz or 64 3700+ OC'ed (save some money here-OC is the way to go-cuz if you spring for the 4000+ just get an FX instead)
BFG or eVGA 7800GT (forget the SLIGHTLY higher version...the 512MB version is coming out real soon)
