Hey i'm just wondering if its possible to make the sound coming from my speakers go directly to the input of my mic. is there an option i can turn on or can i hardwire it or anything? the thing is, i dont even HAVE a mic, but i want whatever is playing from my speakers to be played as whatever i would be saying into the mic. is this possible? thanks for any answers.

that is not possible unless you have a mic and you have the speaker sound entering the microphone.

microphones arent that expensive, go and spend $5 on a mic made of lego...

Hello,

...So you want to record whatever you playback on your PC...?

There are only two solutions. The obvious one is to select Mix Record in your Volume Manager, as the primary recording device. Nearly all soundcards allow you to Mix Record stereo audio, if not mono...which basically allows you to record any audio that you playback on your PC...

...the second method is to buy a microphone, and positioning it near your speakers so that you can record any audio outputted- but this method will result in loss of audio quality, and requires you to invest in hardware that isn't required for the task.
